The OptiMate 5 6V/12V is a versatile, fully automatic battery charger and maintainer designed to support both 6V and 12V lead-acid batteries, including flooded, AGM, GEL, and EFB types. Ideal for use with motorcycles, cars, ATVs, classic vehicles, garden equipment, and other seasonal machinery, it offers reliable performance and long-term battery care with minimal user involvement.

This smart charger features an 8-step program that recovers, charges, tests, and maintains batteries automatically. It can revive deeply discharged batteries from as low as 2V and applies a temperature-compensated charge for optimal battery health. The unit also automatically selects the appropriate voltage—6V or 12V—based on battery condition and type, making it exceptionally user-friendly.

Once the battery reaches full charge, the OptiMate 5 switches to a maintenance mode, applying a low and safe charge to keep the battery at an ideal level without overcharging. The device operates in a wide temperature range and includes built-in protections such as spark suppression, reverse polarity prevention, and automatic shutoff in case of a fault.

Its durable, weather-resistant IP54-rated enclosure and easy-to-read LED indicators make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The charger includes a 2-meter AC input lead and a 2-meter DC output lead with interchangeable battery clips and ring terminals for convenient connections.
