ORIGEN WIRE ROPE DRESSING is a proprietary blend of NLGI 2 grease, which is an
excellent lubricant for high temperature and wet industrial and automotive applications.
This grease provides outstanding mechanical and thermal stability, has very high load
carrying characteristics and provides good resistance to corrosion in the presence of
water. It is a wax-like brown opaque lubricant, which has been developed as an easily applied wire rope dressing and maintenance lubricant.
ORIGEN WIRE ROPE DRESSING’s coating protects exposed metal surfaces and the cohesive coating remains pliable and effectively cushions contacting surfaces and gears.
The high penetrating ability ensures not only surface protection but also lubrication of
the strands and helps to minimize wear between strands and extend fatigue life.
ORIGEN WIRE ROPE DRESSING is recommended for large plain and anti-friction
bearings as well as mechanisms and on chains, sprockets, open gears, sliding surfaces,
enclosed gears, wire ropes and flexible couplings. It has good adhesive qualities, good
pumpability and reduces re-lubrications intervals.
